Just Some Guy. And His Wife. And Dogs.
I'm Rob Strickler—Levittown native, youngest of seven kids, Pennsbury grad. My father was a WWII veteran who suffered bankruptcy and became a school bus driver. My mom worked as a secretary who sometimes had to figure out how to feed our family on $10 a week. Those lean years, along with watching the financial struggles of family and friends, shaped how I see the world.
I married my high school sweetheart Sue, earned my degree at Kutztown, and spent my career in the private sector—creative director, video game designer, software product manager. Today I manage an online eyewear company and am partner in a business venture. Sue and I have called Bucks and Montgomery counties home for 37 years. We love our life in Buckingham, our neighbors, our dogs, and the Eagles. Go Birds!
I've been a very independent voter, supporting whoever I thought was the best candidate. Though I usually voted for Democrats who aligned with my values, I would support independent-minded Republicans as well. But I’ve watched in dismay over the years as the Republican party drifted further away from Constitutional principles. I was disgusted by the rise of Donald Trump and decided in 2016 that I could not support any Republican at any level who would accept such a disgraceful person as the leader of their party, let alone President.
So I'm running as a Democrat for Congress in 2026 because our district needs someone who knows that government does not work for working class families, and how to fix that. And who, unlike Brian Fitzpatrick, understands the dire threat to our civil rights and democracy, and has the character and integrity to honor their oath to uphold and defend our Constitution.
